Diesel is a 5-year-old apricot Mastiff. He is an amiable, reserved, laid back gentleman, who has not had an easy life. His first family left him behind in a trailer when they moved. Fortunately, his breeder heard about it, retrieved him and found him another family.
All would have been fine, but Diesel definitely does not like loud noises and rambunctious children. The new family had a 7-year-old hyperactive son who regularly ran through the house yelling and jumping over Diesel who was napping. Diesel enjoyed living with the two older daughters, but staying out of the path of the jumping boy was pretty challenging for him. The parents decided that he deserved a more peaceful household.
Diesel is a happy, adaptable Mastiff, quite relieved and content with his foster who has read a lot about Mastiffs, but never before had a dog and reports that Diesel is a joy. Diesel feels the same way about him and his friends. This terrific dog is wonderfully leash-trained and knows basic commands. He is easy-going with other dogs and avoids the high energy ones. He’s friendly with strangers, but generally pays no attention to them if there is a family member to hang with. He is everything a Mastiff should be and is ready for a forever home. Help us give him one for Christmas.
