Jessie is a sweet and extremely entertaining and affectionate three year old, surrendered due to the extreme illness of a family member. She has been grieving her loss but is now with a wonderful nurturing foster on a farm with all the things a dog wants most—people, other dogs, goats, chicken, and lots of time in the evening on the porch with the folks....
She is a wonderful, easy-going adaptable mastiff girl, open to everyone she meets, loving rides in the car with her chin on your shoulder, walks in all kinds in all places, hanging out with you at home, more hanging out with you at home, and so it goes. She is a deeply feeling dog who is very light-hearted when she’s most happy.
She is excellent with kids, having spent her life-to-date with two, now a four and six year old. She is good with other dogs but unknown with cats. Her owner says she always looks at them with great interest so it might be a training issue but she’s a lovely, compliant, eager to please girl which is always a good sign. She is good on a leash and knows several commands and is pleased to show you what she knows, unlike most mastiffs, who oblige with reservations.
She is HW negative, UTD on vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. She has no known health issues.
