Peanut is a sweet natured young mastiff boy in need of a forever home. He was picked up wandering as a stray so we don’t know his history, but his cheerful happy personality has endeared him to everyone he has met since coming into rescue.
Peanut enjoys meeting everyone, human and canine alike. He is respectful when greeting new dogs and enthusiastic about adding new humans to his fan club. He is untested with cats. Peanut would probably do best in a home without small animals (like Guinea pigs or ferrets) since he is exceptionally interested in squirrels.
Peanut has done well when meeting children. He is a typical goofy young Mastiff so older children who are not as easily knocked over would be a better fit. He enjoys walks and even hiking but he is unsure about swimming. He has politely allowed himself to be bathed though.
Peanut is young and still learning about the world. He has a great attitude and is eager to please, exhibiting the “velcro dog” tendencies that make Mastiffs the excellent companions they are.
