Senior mastiffs are, as every mastiff owner knows, the absolute best! They are mellow, undemanding, wise in the “been there, done that” knowledge. They combine elegance with a sense of humor that doesn’t quit.
Princess is a seven year old very elegant serene senior who was part of an Animal Control neglect seizure. She was only 88 lbs when she came into the shelter but so friendly and affectionate with the shelter staff that she was immediately a favorite and fortunately gained weight readily. She is now over 130 lbs.
She is very invested in any activity that keeps her in contact with people—riding in the car, long lazy walks and a lot of television, reading time and conversation with you in the evenings.
