Duke- Carmen to pay for ashes, Kimberly to send her the invoice/bill to know the price

Elvis- Kimberly to find out more, and see if the VA foster family might be interested.

Moxi- info for website. Not dog issues- ignores  dogs/horses/squirrels etc.. loving and quiet. Wants to be with you  inside. Loves car rides, to be held and cuddled. She is a smaller  mastiff. Great on a leash. Potty trained. She loves food. 2 cups 2x/day.  Never been around children.  (Edwards family in TX might work?) Cute  photos coming.

Old Business:

• Kevin- Dawn to follow up to see status (intake)  Done! Needs some manners, but great pup!

New Business:  

1. Foster Monica Klopp fostered before and is ready to again. Has a 2 yr old male Boerboel and a cat. (Minnie is not far from them?!) 
2. Mathew Hopson can foster again in Va- Bela, might need to go there. 
3. Elvis and Priscilla update- will take, send surrender forms. They are in VA, would be great if  some of the VA applicants were a match. 
4. Karen and Kevin Bell: approved. Have female that needs an energetic friend. Kevin??? Might work! Kimberly to ask Karen if it is works!  
5. Minnie- Lynn to ask Mark to call to get a better situation of the dog. Kimberly to let them know call may happen (done) 
6. Financial- mastiff picnic $ - did we get? Dawn to check 
7. Gaston county dog- Dawn to contact, Lynn can visit if needed. 

New Business:  

1. Cigna award submission (Dawn)- How many dogs/surrendered contacted us in 2023?   Adoptions in  2023? Stories- Ruger? Lucky? Goliath?   Barney/Mila/Rupert/ and 2 others- surrendered b/c of child having  illness. All placed and thriving.  Kona and her 11 puppies  (resources/transport/applicant  vetting/care/resources), number of hours volunteered. Dawn to contact Susan for writing. Lidia to  find out how many JF dog submissions we received in 2023. And how many  adopters we received, and foster apps. Don’t forget all the emails  directly from shelters we received. 
2. Lidia to outreach to Kelly about PayPal changes!  
3. Tobias adoption– receipts to be sent to Dawn. She will talk  to trustees, and have a tax letter sent from Susan.  
4. Contact Itachi- Claire to contact.  
5. Lidia- Add Daisy to website/FB. 
6. Brooks- Needs to be spayed. Dawn to contact her vets for cheaper options.  
7. Zoey- With Carmen. Stay forever? Claire to check in when they talk.

Action Steps:

1. PayPal Changes: Lidia working with Dolly and Kelly to get this done. And to set up better account system/password  management (backup).
2. Tobias adoption- no fee- Does contract cover future bites? Dawn to ask
3. Brooks- Needs to be spayed.  Dawn to contact her vets for cheaper options.  
4. Foster agreement- need to finalize and add to JF-  Dawn to send to us to complete edits.
5. New Foster in TN, Amanda Wilson. Maybe Bella?  
6. Kevin adoption- TX people driving to GA in 2 weeks to meet, will adopt if all good. Contract? Kimberly- Check on rabies (Lisa-  Send contract in advance, and payment to be done – before dog in car- can void contract if doesn’t take)
7. Strategy to outreach to 3 new dogs. Maya/Peaches- Dawn and Alicia to contact/visit. Kelly can you call Ludmilla? It sounds like typical mastiff puppy stuff….
8. Carmen’s dogs (Brutus/Sandy/Zoey)- Claire to call Carmen and discuss.
9. Kona- Adoption after April Spay- Lisa- do paperwork now for adoption!
10. Titus- to be neutered and check prey drive. Ms. Poulos to adopt? Being chicken tested. Dawn to ask Ms. Poulos and Lynn would help transport. (if happens, then maybe Priscilla comes back down to Randy M. for fostering)
11. Sheila and Shawn- adopters on hold- Dawn to reach out and check in.
