 Business:

1. Kelly passed last week. She has 4 mastiffs which now come to us. Susie Axtell in Rome (678-332-6000), GA will take all 4. Friend of Kelly’s to send a donation to SSMR.
2. Bob wants to know who should get dog numbers to- respond to whomever requested or to Kimberly.
3. Kimberly to resend invoice for $200 Nova spay, and Dozer February meds.
4. Michael Jasper? – Dawn to get receipts for Peaches to Lynn.
5. SSMR webpage- add the trustees… Dawn to type up and send to Lidia.
6. SOP documents- Dawn to send to Kimberly to review.
7. Kelly’s email drafts- out of state, not a mastiff, etc.. Dawn to share.
8. Dog profiles- Claire- google form for dog profiles to be created. Foster fills it out after they have decompressed a bit.
9. Lynn is treasurer! Send invoices to her.

• Mastiff Picnic/MCOA journal article - Write up for Anne and Kelly?- Kelly: Questions for Patrick- when did Kelly start with Mastiffs? (breeding, etc) SSMR/MCOA/SSMF years, Debbie might know more (Lynn to ask). Lynn to also draft something for Anne. Send to Susan for editing.
• Lidia adjust Sandy’s description- high prey drive, no small animals, ok with animals of her size/large dogs.
• Zoey- no kids foster needed, Claire to reach out to Jean Cocchi
• Lidia- Can you do a No pet foster homes FB post- Brutus and Sandy!
• Daisy- Dawn to call one more time to see if they want us to take her

• Alternate  large breed rescues to share as alternatives when SSMR is unable to  assist?  Bull Pen, GA canine rescue, Florida must love Corsos

• Kelly’s Funeral is Laurel Grove on Sunday May 5, 2024 at 1PM and wake at 3PM at Kelly’s 2229 Tennessee Ave, Savannah GA.
• Schwab gift received? Lynn does not see it yet. Email from another friend wanting to give in memory  of Kelly.  Provided Lynn’s address
• State of rescue: Food deliveries? (Kelly’s dogs- Lynn to check prices) Rex neuter? (Patrick  scheduling?)  Check to reimburse Patrick needs to be via the estate- need further instructions.

• Molly Basl- Chester, VA-  Have dog savvy kids and 2 male neutered dogs. Male or F is fine with them.
• Bourns-  Batesburg, SC- Need one good with kids and dogs- Have a M and F right  now. Have rescued many (on the side of road kind of thing)
• Mandy- Beach island, SC- Moxie did not work out, Have a Male Boston Terrier. Prefer younger.  (Peaches?) 
• Jennifer Schaeffer- Stafford, VA- interested in Priscilla.
• Nancy Pittman- Wilmington, NC- prefer Male under 4,  have a 10 yo female. Peaches? (shelter dog first?)
• Bella- decompressing….. hopefully foster to adopt.
• Sandy- having tail amputated today ☹
• Zoey- no kids foster needed, Claire to reach out to Jean Cocchi
• Brutus-no dogs, arthritis,
• Lidia- republish Sandy, Zoey, Brutus- in boarding, need a home!.  Claire to send Lidia info on them.     

Lynn update:

• Susan sent a thank you for the 1k grant to Schwab… The Bertons from Mathews.
• SSMR Accountant found (in PA), extension to be filed.
• Rex neutered- likely in April. Lynn talking to clinic/Patrick.
• Ebay- can register as a nonprofit with them and sellers can have a % go to SSMR. Lynn to research.

Dogs:

• June- they reached back out, phone number was changed. DAWN to follow up.
• Bowser- who did intake?  We do not have notes…. Release? Dawn can you update JF with notes. KW to send release form. Lidia can you add to FB?
• Zoey- Claire has an update. Jean Cocchi to foster- Send foster contract please (Lisa) Claire to send a text for setting up transport.
• Layla- Kimberly has an update (former adopters Kevin and Karen)
• Riley- do we have a kid friendly home for her?
• Hoss- Dawn we need info in JF on the current  foster, and needs to be on website and JF.
• Peaches- mid April. Pittmans meeting. Lisa- please send adoption contract.
