• Venmo: pending meeting with Dolly and Lynn. Dolly has an event coming up, likely will need to wait until after the FL Specialty

  • Reecie and Pebbles need plan for June – Laura Dingman maybe? Claire to outreach Laura as were expecting to be available in May.
  • Other potential fosters in NC are: Lino Scala and Shelby Hudson (not approved)  Anyone have capacity to make some calls

• Success Story:       
  •  Reecie and Pebbles gifts from the universe continue!!!  Mississippi (Jennifer  smith/Platt ) family is taking Pebbles, Reecie going to Valerie Jones in  Dallas, GA for foster. Valerie Jones 302 Meek Drive, Dallas GA 30157.  Valerie email: vmwilliams0323@gmail.com  

• Donna has dogs now- dogs need to move on Friday morning. Lynn can  meet in Greensboro around 9:30/10 am. Area near Grandover resort and  conf center (1000 club drive Greensboro Mc) is a suggestion. Lynn to  drive to Dallas, GA from Greensboro. Both dogs to be picked up from  Dallas, GA.  Lynn to drive to Dawns after for a slumber party.    

New Business:

  • Journey (AL) EM, Amanda Wilson may be available. Former SSMR dog from 2020, we need to figure placement. Claire to reach out to get more info. Lynn to ask Bob about the DB number since dog coming back to us. 

• Adopters: Platt (approved and adopting Pebbles) and Bursky (mailed check, Dawn will complete reference checks- Kimberly to send reference checks out

• Fosters: No new

• Open/closed adoptions- Info sharing- Donna would like to be contacted if ever any questions. Any questions can be funneled through us- not direct.   

• Sully: Kimberly to send release form to Bob. 

• Lidia: remove sully, pebbles, peaches, riley, zoey from website for dogs. Repost Brutus. Need success stories.

• Lidia: Instagram- if we convert to a page, from a group. Do we lose all our following? Benefits to fundraising etc. 

• Lidia: to offer being on the Venmo/Paypal phone calls as a fresh set of IT ears!

• New  dog- DOM- Dawn sent cute pics. He’s in VA. Need to get a surrender form  the shelter. Gets along with dogs/barn cats. Neutered today.  Dawn will let Lisa  know about release. Will need to get on website and FB.
•  Aubrey (AL) – 6 years old. Claire Reach out to Jennifer Snow. If no, then Lidia to put on our FB site.
• Ludmilla- Zachary in the OBX- Kill devil hills. Claire to talk to Zachary.
• Hoss- Lisa- Send adoption contract to Richard and Maxyne 
•  Journey – anxious, 5, SSMR alum- Randy? Might take. Ideally move by 7/7 . Or after 7/24.  Dawn to reach out to him.

• Email from PayPal confirming us a charity! YAY!!! And emails from Venmo!  Progress, Progress, Progress.  Thank you LYNN! Fabulous  work!  But still in progress/approval step. Lidia to continue to  migrate pages and look into this so we can do fundraising.  
• Lisa- Has payment happened for Peaches? 
• Sorting out process for moving dogs. I feel out of practice with the dry spell. We must ensure that Payment and contract are complete before moving a dog to their adoptive home.  
• Heather Melvin- emails about surrendering, said husband wasn’t on board  and third email was wanting to “manage” the adoption themselves. The dog  has a bite history per first email.  Making you all aware.RED flag 
• Ludmilla/Maisey/journey- need to get posted  on our FB site and web site for adoption or foster. Claire and Lidia to assist
