Bella (TN)

Bella is a young brindle girl currently located in Tennessee.

Precious Bella was abandoned outside without food, but she’s come a long way.  Once Bella gets to know you, she is a real love bug. She’ll hang out with you during the day and sit against you as you read a book or watch TV in the evening. If you’re running errands on a Saturday morning, take Bella with you! She loves car rides!

Bella is a smart and sensitive girl. She wants to please, so be patient and give her a chance to learn what you’d like for her to do. Gentle correction is enough. 

Bella would be best placed with someone who can spend time with her during the day. This is not a dog who would do well crated all day.

Bella is heartworm positive, but currently in treatment. She just needs a once monthly dose of medication and she should not run or do zoomies until she is clear from heart worms.

Bella likes to explore outside and she walks well on a leash. 

Bella prefers women. She takes a little while longer to warm up to men and doesn’t like men to touch her much.

Bella formerly lived with another mastiff, but while being fostered, she didn’t care for one pair of dogs she’s met but she did meet them during her heat. She met a smaller dog through a glass door and was non-reactive. She’s met chickens and was non-reactive to them.
