Cletus is a 5‑year‑old brindle sweetheart in VA who gives the softest butterfly kisses and trusts the people who show him kindness. 🦋💋

He’s house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and knows sit, down, touch, and “easy.” He takes treats gently, loves being outside, and enjoys yard play and short walks.

Cletus is:

• Lower energy, loves lounging 🛋️

• Great with kids 👶

• Good with cats 🐱

• Good with small dogs 🐕

• Good with some large dogs

• A total lovebug who wants to be near his people ❤️

He does struggle with:

• Separation anxiety

• Reactivity to unfamiliar dogs

• Low confidence

But with patience and time, he will blossom. His foster believes he’ll be a completely different dog in 6 months with the right person.

Cletus needs a home where:

🐕 He can be the only dog for now
