Hunter (GA)

Additional Information

🐾 Meet Hunter (GA) — the 165‑pound black brindle Mastiff who believes he’s a tiny lap dog and will absolutely try to prove it. 😅💙

🐶✨ The Legend of Hunter: Big, Brindle & Beautiful

Hunter is 8 years old, neutered, brindle, and built like a furry refrigerator with feelings. He sleeps like it’s his full‑time job, eats like it’s his passion, and loves his humans like it’s his purpose. ❤️

He’s an indoor king, but he does enjoy a stroll outside and a fenced yard for his “patrols” (which mostly involve sniffing things and contemplating life).

🧸 Personality:

* Just like any distinguished mastiff gentleman, he naps… a lot. 😴

* Gives dramatic “harumphs” when lonely (Oscar-worthy performances).

* Loves bones, hugs, scratches, and cold tile floors.

* Not destructive — unless you count destroying your personal space bubble with love.

* Nervous at first meetings, but once he approves you, he’s basically your oversized shadow.

👶 With Kids:

Hunter has been around children of all ages and has zero issues.

🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️ With Adults & Strangers:

He’ll bark a bit during introductions, but once he realizes you’re friendly, he becomes a sniffing, leaning, attention-seeking teddy bear.

🐕🐈 With Other Pets:

* Dogs: Friendly after proper intros — no drama, no chaos.

* Cats: He loves them… maybe too much. He wants to watch them like a TV show. 📺🐱 He’s never hurt a kitty, but he could use some coaching on “personal space.”

🎓 Training:

* Hunter is a certified good boy.

* He knows: Sit, Stay, Down, Leave it, Heel, Backup, Come, Wait… and of course, Treats.

* House, crate, and leash trained — a true gentleman.

❤️ Health:

He has some arthritis and a few lumps, but with meds and supplements he moves great — sometimes even jogs! He’s a tough, lovable old man with plenty of life left to share.

🏡 Why You’ll Love Him:

Hunter is the kind of dog who fills a home with warmth, humor, and gentle companionship. He’s goofy, loyal, expressive, and deeply loving. He doesn’t need much — just a comfy spot, a fenced yard, a human to adore, and maybe a cat to stare at respectfully (eventually).

If you’ve ever wanted a giant cuddle buddy who doubles as a living weighted blanket… Hunter is your guy! 💛🐾
