Max (NC)

Max is one of the many unfortunate dogs affected by Hurricane Helene's flooding 😔. His house sustained extensive damage and his family was forced to move to a place where they cannot keep him.

He is a very sweet boy, lap dog, loves to nap, and loves being touched. He LOVES kids and has been around children of all ages, infants to teenagers. When meeting strangers he is very well mannered.

He gets along great with other large dogs. He has also gotten along well with smaller dogs, very playful, doesn't realize he is so big. He doesn't like cats and should not be in a house with either cats or chicken.

Max is House, Crate and Leash trained and responds to the Sit, Stay, Come and Lay commands. He is up-to-date on shots, neutered, in good health and ready to find his new family.
