Rosey (NC)

Rosey is a 3-year-old, gorgeous fawn female. Due to illness of her  owners, she needs a new home so she can get the attention and care she  deserves. She has been great around children age 4+, although of course  she doesn't always realize her size. She is fine  with strangers, and used to large dogs. She has not been around small  dogs and barks at the ones that walk by. She will chase chickens, so she  should not go to a home with those- but she's lived with a cat just  fine. She knows basic commands, and is crate  trained. She does need more leash training. This beautiful girl does  enjoy spending some time outdoors in nice weather.

Once an application has been submitted  and approved, your application is on file and opens the door to current  and future available dogs. We recommend submitting your application if  you are interested in adopting, regardless of a specific dog being  available, as many of our dogs get adopted from  approved applications before even being posted. Please keep in mind  that our sole intention is to make adoptions successful!  We focus on  matching the best fit, which is not always the dog you are visually  attracted to.
